Hello flist!

I am so into mozart right now! I found Don Giovanni on youtube and I´m going to watch it later, I´m soooo excited to be singing a song from that opera, I love it! Its called batti batti o bel masetto. I feel like I don´t know anything about any operas or famous composers and I think I´m going to go to the library and rent out a book about mozart and puccini and/or operas in general. I´d never guessed that I would love singing operas so much. Watch the movie Amadeus if you are interested in classical music at all, I loved it and I was fascinated with all the music and the history, even though it was for the most part fiction. It was about Mozart.

I finished reading a series of unfortunate events again yesterday. i think it was for the third time. i almost cried =( i love those books so much, i don´t know what it is but they just feel like a big part of me. i miss them already.

I love fiona apple, cecilia bartoli, bon iver, and i´m starting to listen to fun. and florence + the machine and they sound neat too. haha and one song by la roux just because its so damn catchy, in my opinion.

i just felt like writing about stuff rn because i´m so excited! over all of this. and i´m getting my drivers license next month finally! hopefully on my birthday if all goes well.

plus! my parents bought me a new reading lamp out of nowhere! cough. the last one i had burned a lot of my clothes because it broke and was turned on, while lying on a heap of clothes D= anyway :D yay for my new lamp.

3. i still have christmas lights in my window. i've had them up for over a year now D=
4. i practiced gymnastics for 3 years, ballet for 7 and been talking singing classes since i was like 8. started learning to play the piano this year, and i know how to play the guitar self taught/ my brother taught me some of it.
5. when i was 3 i was at the duck pond with my parents, and apparently i was in a foul mood cause i kicked in the direction of the ducks and screamed 'goddamn ducks'. in icelandic that is. 3 year olds shouldn't curse like that.
6. i learned to walk in florida although i'm from iceland, and now i have a house there.
7. i have braces D= and i cracked my head open 4 years in a row.
